Program notes:
Khamsin is one of the characteristic winds of the Sahara. It blows from the south-southeast in the arid regions of North Africa and the Middle East. This hot, dry wind is known for its strength and ability to shape the desert landscape.
The Khamsin raises sand, creates dust storms and constantly reshapes the desert with its imposing presence.
The idea is based on the principles of matter being shaped, moved, lifted and changed by an external force, the wind.
External objects that can influence and modify matter, changing its original nature and revealing another nature, another nature.
Processes that metaphorically follow the lines and principles of electronics, treatments of sound as granular synthesis.
Metamorphoses of an intrinsic mutability of images treated as malleable matter transformed by external elements.
